Application process for second release of JEE-Primary to close on March 12
The application interaction for the second release of the engineering selection test JEE-Primary started on Wednesday and will close on March 12, Public Testing Organization (NTA) authorities said. The second meeting of the Joint Placement test (Primary) 2023 will be directed from April 6 to April 12, with April 13 and 15 kept as held days.
“The dates of advance intimation of examination city, downloading of admit cards, and declaration of result will be displayed on JEE (Main) portal at the appropriate time,” a senior NTA official said.
Up-and-comers are not permitted to fill more than one application structure, else it will be treated as unjustifiable means.
“Candidates who had already appeared in January (first session) will log in with the same credentials and pay the examination fee for the April exams. Filing more than one application form will be treated as UFM (unfair means), even if found at a later stage, and strict action will be taken against that candidate,” the authority added.
The NTA recently reported the outcome of the first release of JEE-MAIN in which 20 applicants scored a wonderful 100.
A record 95.80 percent participation was kept in the January release of the critical test with over 8.23 lakh competitors showing up for it.
The assessment was held in 13 dialects (Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu).
The assessment was likewise directed external India in 17 urban communities of Manama, Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore, Kuwait City, Kuala Lumpur, Lagos and Abuja, Colombo, Jakarta, Moscow, Port Louis, Bangkok, Washington D.C.
After the two meetings of JEE (Fundamental) 2023 assessment, the positions of the applicants will be delivered thinking about the best of the two NTA scores as per the strategy previously made.
In view of the consequences of JEE-Mains Paper 1 and Paper 2, the top 2.6 lakh up-and-comers will be qualified to show up for the JEE-Advanced test, which is a one-stop test to get entrance into the 23 head Indian Institutes of Innovation (IITs).
