Smt. Droupadi Murmu – An Inspiration For The Nation
Why is it that the Election of the 15th President of India has become such a buzz? What makes the 2022 Presidential Election of India so different from any other Presidential Election of the country? Well, almost after every 5 years, India witnesses a new President; the only exception was in the case of the First President of India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Ji as he was the only President of India to be elected for two terms.
However, apart from this exceptional case, India has never witnessed a repeat of President and after every 5 years since Dr. Rajendra Prasad Ji, the country has always got a New President. Similarly, this year 2022 was also no exception and in this year’s Presidential Election, the country was ready to elect a New President. Interestingly, no other than the favourite candidate, Smt. Droupadi Murmu Ji became the 15th President of India!
One huge takeaway from the 2022 Indian Presidential Elections is that Smt. Droupadi Murmu Ji has become the ‘First Tribal President’ in the history of India. Well, this rightly became the headlines and now almost every citizen of the nation is aware with the fact that the country has finally got a Tribal President. It is not just a good news for the various Tribal Communities of the country but also for the entire nation. In addition, the election of Smt. Droupadi Murmu as the President of India is a great message for the entire nation in several ways.
Often times, the tribal people are considered to be inferior or retiringness in almost every aspects of life by many of people in our nation. Most people thinks that the tribes still wears leaves and dances around the fire and lives only in the forest regions; well we all know it is the senseless bollywood that has framed such a stupid image of the tribes in our minds. Nevertheless, the election of Smt. Droupadi Murmu Ji as the Indian President will be a big and tight slap right across the face of the filthy bollywood and the sick minds of the film industry.
Anyways let us keep our focus towards the takeaways from the event of Smt. Droupadi Murmu becoming the 15th President of India and the nation’s first Tribal President. Among all the vital takeaways, the biggest one is that now the nation has learnt that anyone, no matter how much oppressed can make anything possible for themselves. The lack of opportunities or the lack of resources can undoubtedly make a person’s life difficult but a person with real determination can overcome all challenges to pave a way to the summit of the success.
Undoubtedly, Smt. Droupadi Murmu Ji has lived up to the words of the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi Ji, as he said “Aapda Ko Avsar Mein Badale” during the lockdown days of 2020. What a wonderful thing to say, “Aapda Ko Avsar Mein Badale” translates to “Turn the Adversities into Opportunities!” PM Narendra Modi Ji said these inspiring words in the year 2020 when India and the entire world was facing the crisis of the Chinese Virus!
In the very same manner, our Current President, Smt. Droupadi Murmu Ji has made sure to keep fighting with the tough situation and all the adversities that she faced in her life. She teaches our entire nation to not give up and keep on moving ahead in the direction of our targets, even when the world does not expect anything from us. She has seen many ups and downs in her life and has been through a long road of patience and determination to reach here. Her oath swearing ceremony on 25th of July 2022 was a delightful and a memorable event, which will be written down with golden words in the Indian History forever.
