Sheetal Devi Makes History at Para World Archery Championship
Indian para-archer Sheetal Devi, just 18 years old, has scripted history by winning gold in the women’s compound individual event at the Para World Archery Championship.
In a thrilling final, Sheetal defeated world No.1 Oznur Cure Girdi of Turkiye with a score of 146–143. What makes her victory extraordinary is her unique technique — she shoots using her feet and chin, being the only armless archer in the competition.
