New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday presented four books centered on India’s successful G20 presidency. The books were launched during the G20 University Connect Finale and are now available in ebook format on the G20 India website and app.
The book ‘Showcasing Indian Culture at G20’ depicts the breadth and diversity of Indian culture displayed to G20 delegates around the country.

India’s G20 presidency provides an opportunity to display a wide range of Indian culture and India as a top tourism destination.
It was the first time that G20 events were held in each of India’s states and union territories, giving each of them the opportunity to showcase the best of their culture.
During its G20 presidency, India effectively displayed its vast cultural history, which included performing arts, visual arts, heritage sites, and culinary traditions, demonstrating the country’s cultural diversity and boosting cross-cultural understanding among member nations.
The G20 presidency of India demonstrated not just its cultural soft power but also its economic potential in the cultural and tourism industries, making it a source of national pride.
Over the last ten months, a variety of classical, folk, and tribal dances and music depicting India’s eclectic and heterogeneous society have been performed at G20 events ranging from Kashmir to Andaman and Nicobar, and from Rann of Kutchh to Kohima.
The enthralling performances highlighted the country’s thriving artistic tradition, with each dance and music style emitting its own distinct flavor and tale.
Furthermore, the G20 University Connect program was launched with the goal of increasing young understanding of India’s G20 Presidency and increasing their involvement in various G20 events.
On the occasion, the Prime Minister also released three books: The Grand Success of the G20 Bharat Presidency: Visionary Leadership, Inclusive Approach; India’s G20 Presidency: Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam; and Compendium of the G20 University Connect Programme.
