Entertainer Vidya Balan explains this a little further by bringing up a relevant issue and says, “For (me) women’s liberation is totally different, knowing (my) freedoms and carrying on with life on (my) terms, this comprises who (I am); however for a lady a lived in a town purdah or ghunghat for her entire life, whenever she first lifts the ghunghat and strolls, that is strengthening, in that setting she’s being a women’s activist.” “Wouldn’t you say we are going through when we are having an extremely nearsighted view on this?”, the main woman inquires.
Rao’s book ‘Smita Patil, A Short Radiance’ was distributed in 2015. She co-altered two books in 2022 – ‘The Most seasoned Romantic tale, A Parenthood Treasury’, and ‘Movies Through Ladies’ Eyes, An Investigation of Seventeen of 17 Ladies Overseers of India’.
