A film and literary festival is scheduled to take place in Kullu following the conclusion of Dussehra.
A subcommittee meeting was presided over by Deputy Commissioner Kallu Torul S. Ravish today to discuss the planning of a book fair, literature festival and film festival to take place in Kullu after the International Dussehra festival.
He gave everyone instructions to investigate the viability of holding these gatherings with the goal of giving Kullu’s cinema and book lovers enlightening experiences. Through encounters with prominent authors, the proposed book fair is expected to develop a lively literary community and provide students and literature lovers with access to a wide selection of literary works.
The Deputy Commissioner underlined how urgent it is to look into these alternatives and report back as soon as possible. Sunila Thakur, the district language officer, Assistant Commissioner Shashi Pal Negi, and Subcommittee Chairman and Assistant Organised Officer Charanji Lal were present during the meeting.
