140 Books Selected for Librarians: SDG Book Club Expands to Brazil
Several nations have already commended the SDG Book Club for its attempts to spread awareness of the SDGs through literature.
The SDG Book Club significantly increased its membership at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair 2023, with Brazil becoming the newest nation to do so. The project seeks to engage children and young adults in the global agenda for a better future by promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through literature and reading.
Famous Brazilian author Karine Pansa emphasised the significance of the SDG Book Club in reaching every region because 140 titles were chosen as the official list for librarians in the nation. This represents an important step in making the SDG Book Club available to kids in Brazil and ensuring that the programme reaches the most remote areas of the nation.
Several nations have already commended the SDG Book Club for its attempts to spread awareness of the SDGs through literature. The project’s goal is to use reading’s transformative power to engage young people in some of the most important global issues currently plaguing our planet.
The SDG Book Club is expected to reach an even larger audience and keep making a positive difference in the lives of kids and young adults all over the world now that Brazil has joined the initiative.
