Nitin Dhaboo: A Leader Who Sells Trust, Not Products
In a corporate world often driven solely by quarterly numbers and transaction targets, Nitin Dhaboo champions a refreshing perspective rooted in emotional intelligence, human connection, and authentic communication. As a seasoned media sales leader, business strategist, and award-winning author, he has spent decades exploring how people build trust, influence decisions, and forge meaningful relationships. His journey proves that the most successful professionals aren’t just exceptional sellers—they are exceptional listeners, communicators, and leaders who treat sales as an essential life skill rather than a corporate function.
Armed with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, Nitin built a strong academic foundation for a stellar career in strategic business development and electronic media sales. From the outset, his focus extended beyond short-term commercial gains, prioritizing sustainable business models, long-term partnerships, and scalable growth strategies capable of adapting to shifting market dynamics.
Over the years, he has held senior leadership roles across some of India’s most respected media organizations, including Zee Media Corporation Limited, The Indian Express Group, Jaipur Media and Broadcasting Pvt Ltd, Times Group-affiliated entities, Infomedia 18 Ltd, and Red FM.
Currently serving as the Regional Head for Zee 24 Taas at Zee Media Corporation Limited, Nitin oversees regional business strategy, sales leadership, and advertiser partnerships for one of Maharashtra’s leading Marathi news channels. By combining sharp market intelligence with collaborative leadership, he consistently transforms regional markets into thriving business ecosystems.
Recognizing that sales is one of the world’s most misunderstood disciplines, Nitin authored his debut book, The Life Skill Called Sales: From Playground To Paycheck! Moving away from pressure-driven selling tactics and persuasive scripts, the book reframes sales as an intrinsic human ability, demonstrating how every meaningful conversation, negotiation, and relationship relies on clarity, empathy, authenticity, and genuine curiosity.
Structured across four progressive phases—beginning with self-awareness and emotional intelligence and moving toward practical communication and influence—the book offers universal relevance for entrepreneurs, business professionals, educators, and leaders looking to communicate more effectively and build stronger bonds.
The book’s impact has been widely celebrated, featuring an official launch by the Honourable Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Fadnavis, alongside Shri Kamlesh Sutar, Chief Editor of Zee 24 Taas. Furthermore, its literary and professional significance earned Nitin the “Best Sales Book Award 2026” and the “Transformational Sales Coaching Award 2026” at the Inspiring Business Awards in New Delhi, presented by acclaimed actor Neil Nitin Mukesh. The book is currently available across Amazon, Flipkart, Kindle, and other major online marketplaces.
Nitin’s philosophy of leadership extends far beyond business growth and publishing through a deep commitment to social impact. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he actively supported economically vulnerable families through relief initiatives, and his ongoing philanthropic efforts include meaningful contributions to old-age homes and orphanages.
With enduring interests in leadership psychology, communication strategies, sports, and reading, Nitin Dhaboo continues to inspire a new generation of professionals to lead with authenticity, communicate with intention, and build a lasting impact that extends far beyond commerce.
