‘‘Paperbacks & Pour Overs’’ a café based reading initiative to launch by Third Wave Coffee & HarperCollins.
To celebrate World Book Day, Third Wave Coffee, a well-known Indian café chain, has partnered with HarperCollins India to introduce Paperbacks & Pour Overs, a program that brings together the pleasure of coffee and reading.
This initiative will feature specially curated book sections in select Third Wave Coffee outlets nationwide. Each book corner will showcase the HarperCollins Discovery Set, a regularly updated selection of top-selling and acclaimed books by Indian and global authors. The goal is to turn these cafes into welcoming spaces for book lovers, where they can relax and get lost in a good read.
People can browse, read, and return books, fostering a sense of community and shared discovery among coffee shop regulars.”According to Rajat Luthra, CEO of Third Wave Coffee, Our cafes are designed to be more than just a quick coffee stop; they’re spaces where people can slow down, connect, and inspire each other,” The combination of coffee and books feels organic, and we’re thrilled to create a dedicated space for this pairing through Paperbacks & Pour Overs.
This collaboration honors the dual pleasures of reading and coffee, and the makers are delighted to share this experience with the coffee and book lovers.
The partnership will also feature a range of literary events, such as author-led workshops, book clubs, and themed merchandise, integrating reading into the cafe’s daily culture. Shabnam Srivastava, General Manager of Marketing at HarperCollins India, comments, “We’re excited to partner with Third Wave Coffee to create a community of readers and enhance the coffee shop experience with curated book recommendations.”
The Paperbacks & Pour Overs initiative seeks to redefine the cafe experience, creating a lifestyle space where literature and coffee seamlessly come together, sparking meaningful conversations and connections.
