The Department of School Education and Literacy is involving students, teachers, and community members nationwide to spread knowledge of the G-20 meeting, the New Education Policy (NEP), and Foundational Literacy and Numeracy. The number of engagements across the nation is depicted in a graph that the education ministry released on the microblogging platform X (formerly known as Twitter). The G-20 meeting will take place in New Delhi from September 9 to 10.
Prior to the G20 summit, which will take place in New Delhi this week, Prime Minister Narendra Modi recommended all of the ministers to download the G20 India smartphone app. On Tuesday, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs unveiled the ‘G20 India’ mobile application.
The app will continue to work throughout India’s G20 chairmanship. Officials from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology claim that as of Tuesday, more than 15000 mobile apps had been downloaded worldwide. The G20 India mobile app would facilitate communication between the delegates and foreign delegates in all G20 languages.
Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, and European Union are among the nations taking part in the G20 summit in 2023.
