Chitkara Literary Festival: Celebrating the Confluence of Literature, Culture, and Ideas
The Chitkara Lit Fest 2024 unfolded at the Chitkara International School campus in Chandigarh, spanning three days from February 22nd to 24th across Chitkara University’s Himachal and Punjab campuses. Eminent figures like Ankur Warikoo, Jerry Pinto, Lady Kishwar Desai, Naib Midha, Mahek Mirza Prabhu, Rochelle Potkar, Zac O’Yeh, and others graced the first two days with captivating speeches.
#ChitkaraLitFest 2024 centered on the profound impact of literature, culture, and ideas. Imtiaz Ali, the acclaimed filmmaker, took center stage, offering insights into Indian cinema’s intricacies. His storytelling journey, from “Jab We Met” to “Rockstar,” resonated with creativity and cultural influences. Ashish Vidyarthi, a Bollywood veteran, shared experiences and encouraged pursuing passions. Author Akshat Gupta explored Indian mythology’s enduring appeal.
The festival celebrated diverse voices, including entrepreneur Ankur Warikoo, writer Jerry Pinto, historian Lady Kishwar Desai, and spoken word artist Nayab Midha.
