HarperCollins India Unveils Booktopus, a New Imprint for Early Readers
HarperCollins Publishers India has announced the launch of Booktopus, a new imprint dedicated to pre-schoolers and early readers. This imprint aims to offer a carefully curated selection of high-quality, engaging books designed to spark curiosity and intellectual growth in young children.
With Booktopus, HarperCollins India seeks to cultivate a love for learning by creating enjoyable, imaginative, and stimulating reading experiences.
Tina Narang, Executive Publisher – HarperCollins Children’s Books, expressed her excitement, saying, “We are delighted to introduce Booktopus, a pre-school imprint designed to meet the increasing demand from parents and educators for engaging and educational content.”
Booktopus will feature a diverse range of books, including novelty books that offer a warm hug, torch books revealing hidden images under light, activity books for hours of fun, early learning books introducing fundamental concepts, lift-the-flap books, and much more.
The imprint also introduces an adorable Booktopus mascot, welcoming young readers with open arms—eight of them—to a world of fun and discovery.
Children are already loving the collection! Ridwin Wadhawan, 3, excitedly says, “I love it!”, while Mishka Sood, 5, joyfully exclaims, “What a nice book!” as they explore the Hug Me series.
The first lineup of Booktopus includes Hug Me board books, Torch books, Puzzle books, Touch-and-Feel books, Slide board books, Sticker books, Build-It kits, Lift-a-Flap books, and My First 100 board books.
