Reviewing this beautiful poetry collection book, “Wind Chimes” by Author-Poet Dr. Sujata Chatterjee has been a very satisfying experience to me since I started my writing journey as a poet. And now whenever I get a chance to review a Poetry Collection book, I not only enjoy reading these new and expressive poems, where the Poet conveys some unheard messages through their words, but also I get the opportunity to learn something new regarding the composition of poetry, each time!

About the Author: The Author, Dr. Sujata Chatterjee is a doctor and am an author by passion. She is the recipient of many prestigious awards like Swami Vivekananda Excellence Award for Literature, Shonghoti Sammanana Awards, National Book Honour Awards, Literoma Laureate Award, Literoma Achiecver Award, Nari Samman Award, etc.

In addition, Dr. Sujata is also an author with 4 books till now, namely: Looking through the Prism, Waves of Fortune, Flights of Fantasy and Wind Chimes. She has edited a book (TRAVELLER’S Diary) and co-authored numerous books. She is the Honourable Program Director of Lions Club of Kolkata Magnates, where she has organized and hosted many poetry open mikes and panel discussions. She is also the freelance Journalist of the Hello Kolkata Evening Daily Newspaper. She is a regular contributor to Woman’s Era magazine.

Book’s Theme & Introduction: Poetry – This book, Wind Chimes is having a lovely collection of poems, one after another, which are mostly based upon the various aspects of life like togetherness, sentiments, relationships, faith and happiness. The book highlights the human emotions in an incredible manner. ‘Wind Chimes’ touches every chord of the heart. In this case, the title is giving a very positive and beautiful vibe so you would feel the urge to go inside the chapters and try to understand the Author’s expression of words!

In addition, I must mention that the title of this book is much “Justified” with regards to the poems in this book. Undoubtedly, it is a very apt for this poetry collection book and the Author had been extremely wise to go for this title.

Book Cover: The portrayal of “the tree leaves hanging in the wind chimes” in the book’s front cover is not just giving a very “Specular Impression” but also, creating a very optimistic and beautiful vibe just like the Book’s Title! The readers can interpret the book cover design in a thousand different ways as per their sense of interpretation, but the most common interpretation could be that the illustration on the book cover is showing the Author’s idea of happiness flowing through the winds and passing through the wind chimes shown in the cover of the book!
