The latest novel by Anand Neelakantan is a romantic comedy based on the Mahabharata.
Anand Neelakantan, a well-known author of mythofiction, has written 11 novels, some of which are for young readers. Now, in April, the author will publish his twelfth novel.
Recently, Neelakantan announced the details of his forthcoming book on social media. “Excited to reveal my twelfth book. This time, it’s a Mahabharata love comedy, he noted on Twitter.
‘Nala Damyanti: An Eternal Tale from the Mahabharata’ is the title of the new book, and according to the author, it is “told from the viewpoint of Damayanti and Hemanga, the golden swan, and one day this will be a Disney or Pixar film.
The book will be distributed by Penguin India. . “Anand Neelakantan is back with a stunning new novel on the epic characters of Nala and Damayanti from Mahabharata. This fresh take on a timeless tale will keep you engaged and engrossed till the last page. I am proud to publish the book and hope readers across the world enjoy reading the book,” said Milee Ashwarya, Distributer PRHI said.
‘Nala Damyanti’ by Anand Neelakantan will be distributed on April 24, 2023.
In the mean time, his new kids’ book named ‘Tale of the Naughty Flying Mountain’ will likewise be distributed by Puffin on March 27, 2023. The book recounts the account of the ruler of the mountains- – Himavan- – who loses his wings in view of Narada’s mischiefs. This, all the while, makes utter confusion.
Other well-known works by Neelakantan include “Asura,” the “Ajaya” series, the “Bahubali” Trilogy, and others.
