BENGALURU: Literature enthusiasts in India’s Silicon Valley have something major to celebrate. The third edition of the Book Brahma Literature Festival (BBLF) is officially scheduled to kick off on August 14, 2026.
Running for 10 consecutive days through August 23, 2026, the massive literary extravaganza will take place at the St. John’s Auditorium Complex in Koramangala, Bengaluru.
A Grand Celebration of Multilingual Literature
The 10-day festival is designed to be a true melting pot of regional and national literature. Organizers have curated a dynamic lineup featuring over 400 distinguished authors, poets, journalists, and thinkers from across India.
Attendees can look forward to more than 200 interactive sessions spanning multiple Indian languages, including Kannada, English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Bengali. The diverse programming aims to foster cross-cultural dialogue and shine a bright spotlight on regional storytelling.
Beyond Books: Culture, Art, and Handicrafts
The Book Brahma Literature Festival goes far beyond standard panel discussions and book launches.
Alongside the literary tracks, the venue will host a vibrant cultural and handicrafts exhibition, alongside a massive book fair and artisanal flea market. Visitors will be able to explore traditional Indian crafts, handlooms, and unique artwork while enjoying live cultural performances throughout the 10-day event.
Free Entry for All Literature Lovers
In an effort to make arts, culture, and literature widely accessible to the public, the organizers have confirmed that entry to the festival is completely free for all visitors.
Whether you are an avid reader, a student, a writer, or simply looking for a culturally enriching weekend outing in Bengaluru, BBLF 2026 promises an immersive experience for all ages.
Mark your calendars for August 14 and stay tuned for the official schedule and keynote speaker announcements!
