On March 17, Ruskin Bond will inaugurate Shoolini Litfest.
On the campus of this institution, the third iteration of the three-day Shoolini Literature Festival got underway yesterday.
Author and keynote speaker Ruskin Bond advised young authors not to give up if publishers reject their work and to keep striving for success. He added that despite numerous rejections, he persisted and continued to pursue writing as his love.
The inaugural ceremony was officiated over by Dr. Rajeshwar Singh Chandel, Vice-Chancellor of the Dr. YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry.
Atul Khosla, vice chancellor of Shoolini University, stated that the school would work to elevate the literature fair to a prestigious annual occasion. During a session on “The world’s a stage,” film director Mahesh Dattani discussed the nature of tales and how performing arts aligned with them.
The literature festival included a flower fair as well as its goal of uniting book lovers from across the nation. There will be about 50 distinguished speakers from a variety of fields, including fiction, poetry, movies, and cuisine.
On Friday, Sanjay Deshpande, Neelesh Kulkarni, Gurdeep Gul, Nandita Iyer, Raj Shekhar, Jupinderjit Singh, Balram Gupta, Manjri Prabhu, Gen Raj Mehta, Pawan Shah, and Puneetinder Kaur Sandhu all discussed their professional experiences and thoughts.
