The Book Fair at Suchna Kendra, Udaipur, Is Exciting!
Discover the National Book Trust’s Udaipur Book Fair 2024 at Suchna Kendra, which runs till September 26 and features over 2,000 books and creative activities that are fascinating and fun.
A week-long book expo in Udaipur is being hosted by the National Book Trust of India, and it began today. The fair will be held at Suchna Kendra, which is close to Chetak Chitra, until September 26, 2024.
The joint director of Suchna Kendra, Dr. Kamlesh Sharma, stated that the bookshop will be near Chetak Circle and feature more than two thousand volumes. Dr. Sharma added that a variety of subjects, including the arts, literature, history, general knowledge, children’s literature, and more, would be covered by the books on exhibit.
The National Book Trust’s associate director, Mukesh Kumar, says that each day, guests at the book fair can also take part in a variety of creative activities. The activities are scheduled as follows:
September 20
- A story-telling session for students: 10:00 am to 10:45 am
- Painting competition: 11:00 am to 11:45 am
- Author discussion: 12:00 noon to 12:45 pm
September 23
- Storytelling session (led by an India Book Record holder): 10:00 am to 10:45 am
- Poster designing workshop: 11:00 am to 11:45 am
- Theater workshop: 12:00 noon to 12:45 pm
September 24
- Story-telling session: 10:00 am to 10:45 am
- Bookmark designing workshop: 11:00 am to 11:45 am
- Cartoon workshop: 12:00 noon to 12:45 pm
September 25
- Storytelling session: 10:00 am to 10:45 am
- Origami workshop: 11:00 am to 11:45 am
- Book cover design workshop: 12:00 noon to 12:45 pm
September 26
- Storytelling session: 10:00 am to 10:45 am
