Noah Baumbach, the director of “Barbie,” will release a new memoir.

Noah Baumbach, an American screenwriter and director, will soon release a new memoir.
Baumbach, who is well-known for directing contemporary dramas like White Noise with Adam Driver, While We’re Young with Ben Stiller, and The Squid and the Whale with Jesse Eisenberg, recently announced that Alfred A. Knopf had acquired the rights to his upcoming memoir.

Through Penguin Random House, Alfred A. Knopf’s parent business, the book will be released in hardcover.
Even though the memoir’s rights have already been secured, only an outline of the book is currently available; the memoir itself is still far from finished.

The memoir will go into detail about Baumbach’s personal experiences, including his childhood in 1970s Brooklyn, his education at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, and his illustrious career in the film industry.

Barbie’s script was co-written by Baumbach and his partner Greta Gerwig, who is also the film’s director. Barbie, starring Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, Michael Cera, Will Ferrell, Emma Mackey, America Ferrera, and Issa Rae, is bringing the iconic doll to the big screen for the very first time.
