Artists Are Born Or Made?
One can never say with full amount of surety that, Artists are born or made. Well, at least we may agree to the statement that, “Artists are born to be made!” If we search the term “ART” over the Internet, then we will obtain the result as – Art is a creative activity that expresses imaginative or technical skills. While if we search for the term “ARTIST” on the internet, then we will obtain the result as – An Artist is someone engaged in an activity related to Art.

From these search results obtained from the internet, most of us would conclude the fact, that this Universe is a truly an incredible Art and the Almighty Lord is the ultimate Artist. We all can feel his ubiquitous presence in almost all the natural creations that we see around us. One can say that the Lord is a painter, which actually is very much evident from the beautiful colours of sky, the sunrise and the sunset. On the other hand, you can say that the Lord is a singer as his unprecedented voices can be heard everywhere. Alternatively, you may also say that the Almighty Lord is the ultimate Choreographer because he makes the entire universe and all the creations of this universe dance to the tune of his wills.
However, without a doubt, we the “HUMANS” are his paramount creation and we are the work of his Art. Human is God’s crowning achievement because we are the ones who can think, speak, learn, express emotions and that is what makes us different, exquisite and artistic in nature. Every person is unique and has some talent naturally embedded in him or her. So in a way it can be said, that humans are born artist because God has gifted us with all those credentials, which are is required to be imaginative creative and expressive.
Moreover, my own experiences tells me that the inclination towards art in a human being is definitely inborn but still we cannot simply conclude that artists are born. Now, the question remains the same – “Artists Are Born Or Made?” So, to answer this, I would like to quote the words of the popular painter of all time, PABLO PICASO. He says that, “Every child is an Artist; the problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up!”
We, the humans are all so wonderfully complex that probably each one of us are gifted with some or the other kind of the flair, all we need to do to become an artist is to strive for it because mere talent is not enough to succeed in life! Therefore, it becomes essential to discover our interests and work upon those interests of ours to polish our skills until we shine as the real artists!
We all know that the people who work on their skills creates History! Lata Mangeshkar would not have become such legendary singer, if she had not practiced her art each day. Sachin Tendulkar and Mahindra Singh Dhoni could never had become such successful cricketers without their sincere efforts and practice. Well, we can read about ‘N’ number of great personalities, who discovered their real talents and then worked hard on themselves with regular practice in order to polish their skills. Artists are the people who are always ready to take that risk for converting their passion into their profession!
In a nutshell, I feel that the artist are born or made seems to be like a 40:60 ratio, where a person who becomes an artist recognises his/her inborn talents and gets training and support from the right people. Moreover, only with the support and training from the right people, the artists are directed towards the right paths. As the people or the coaches who identifies the art or skill in a person, plays an equal important role in making the artists shine as precious diamonds!
