This year’s Belgrade Book Fair saw 200,000 visitors, breaking previous records.


A record-breaking 200,000 visitors attended this year’s 67th Belgrade International Book Fair, which ended Friday night, according to Danka Selić, the fair’s director.

According to the Fair’s press release, there were 424 direct exhibitors (primary and co-exhibitors), 340 of whom were from Serbia and 84 of whom were from outside. In total, there were 881 participants.

As Selić pointed out, the Belgrade Book Fair and publishers hosted 530 programmes.

The exhibition featured publishers from Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Iran, Italy, Germany, Romania, Russia, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, Croatia, and Montenegro, in addition to Serbian publishers and Cuba, the honorary guest nation.

The Belgrade Fair will host the 68th International Book Fair from October 18–26, 2025.
