Ease Of Doing Business In India
Well, it is probably for the first time in the history of India that the government claims are actually turning out to be true, especially in the case of Ease of Doing Business in India! Ever since mid of 2014, when the Modi Government came into the power and formed a strong government in the centre with a full majority in the lower house, the nation has indeed seen some ‘Acche Din!’ As, when it comes to business activities, it is very much evident that the atmosphere to carry out start-ups in India has become truly conducive.
The current government has stood upon most of their promises and has made sure to end all those old and obsolete British Era Laws, which were unnecessarily complex with way too many paper works, causing some unrequired hindrance at the time of company formation. Whereas, the Modi Government in the centre has always focused upon ‘Ease of Doing Business in India’ and that made the Government of India to take a countless number of steps to make sure that they walk their talk. The series of steps taken by the central government to make the old laws defunct was planned well in advanced and has indeed resulted with some positive outcomes, as the nation today is witnessing a multifold rise in the start-ups!
Moreover, with the revolutionary and praise worthy policies like Start-Up India and Stand-Up India, the Modi Government has given out a very clear message to the citizens of nation and to the world that now India has begun her journey to become a global power in the sector of business and trade. Well, as a result of the relaxations given by the government to the citizens in the process of start-ups, the nation today is witnessing many more entrepreneurs, making their mark with successful start-ups of all kinds and in all the sectors.
Now, this is indeed a good news for the nation as the new entrepreneurs are coming up with new business ideas and with their success, the nation is witnessing the success in the growth of the national economy as well. After a real long span of time, India has gained some leverage in the Export Sector as well and if we go by the recent reports then in the last 4 years the exports made by India has increased multifold. Interestingly, India is now exporting several of those products, which we used to import previously. In addition, recently only about a couple of years ago India became the 6th largest economy in the world and with the demonetisation of 2016, India’s bank reserve too has increased multifold. Aren’t all these good news for us as citizens?
Now, you can easily guess the prime factor behind the growth and progress of our trade and commerce sector, resulting in India’s strong and vibrant economy. Of course, it is none other than the government’s high priority to the Ease of Doing Business in India. As educated and responsible citizens, we should have some basic & general information and be proud of the amazing steps taken by our government. India is constantly progressing, especially in the last few years India has been successful in improving her image at the global stage. The International Ranking of India in Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) is currently 63 in the year 2022, while India’s rank on EoDB during 2010-14 was in the range of 131 to 142, under the previous regime of the ineffective congress government.
These marvellous figures are enough to give you the genuine picture of the progress made by our country under the Modi Government rule at international level. Moreover, these figures are enough to make us proud as citizens of India, since the government chosen by us is sincerely functioning and making sure to fulfill their manifesto promises. Undoubtedly, the reforms made by the government in the attempt to improve the national economy are proved fruitful, as number do not lie. As citizens, we too have a part to play in the process of contributing towards the progress of our nation; we need to file our tax returns and pay the taxes (if falling under the tax slabs made by the Ministry of Finance) honestly!
